Debian 10.9 Released
While Debian 11.0 is brewing and currently under a hard freeze, Debian 10.9 is out this weekend as the latest stable update to Debian 10 “Buster“.
Debian 10.9 brings SBAT support to the FWUPD packages, a security fix to cloud-init to avoid logging generated passwords to world-readable log files, Intel CPU microcode updates, the latest Linux 4.19 kernel patches incorporated, and a wide variety of other bug fixes and security updates. Overall Debian 10.9 is largely a mundane release besides getting the latest security fixes out there.
The full list of security updates and other package changes to Debian 10.9 can be found via Debian.org.
